חוות החופש תשמש כמקלט לחיות ניצולות ממשקי החי ותתן הזדמנות לחיי נוחות, חופש, רווחה וחמלה.
החווה תשמש כ"גן עדן" עלי אדמות ותתן הזדמנות לקבוצות, ליחידים ולמשפחות באוכלוסיה להיחשף ולהכיר את בעלי החיים מהמשקים המתועשים כישיות בעלות אופי, רגשות, מבנה חברתי, לבלות בקרבת בעלי החיים במצבם האידיאלי, לטעום מזון המבוסס מהצומח, להקשיב להרצאות, להשתתף בסדנאות, לצפות בהבדלים העזים והצורמים בין בעלי החיים הללו לבין אחיהם מוכי הגורל ובכך לפתוח חסימות עתיקות שנים של סוגר הלב כלפי אחינו לחיים על פני כדור הארץ, כמו גם ההבנה לגבי הנזקים האקולוגיים שביכולתנו למנוע, הבונוס העצום לבריאות כל אחד ואחת מאיתנו, ועד למעגל הרחוק יותר של תרומתו האישית של כל אחד ואחת למלחמה בתמותה מרעב במדינות העולם השלישי

עמרי צבי, שהכיר את הרפתן התחנן על חייו וביקש לשקמו.
לאחר שיקום קצר הצליח לעמוד על רגליו וחי עד עצם היום הזה.

This page will document and accompany the entire moving process of the establishment of the first rescue and habilitation sanctuary farm of its kind in Israel.
You are all welcome to take part in this process: Voice your opinion, raise suggestions, show your support via 'like' and 'share' on FB and experience with us the realizing of this dream.
The Freedom Sanctuary will serve as a shelter for rescued animals from the meat and dairy industry, and will provide an opportunity for a comfortable, free, companionate and wellbeing life.
The farm will serve as a "Heaven on earth" and will provide an opportunity for singular, groups and families in the population to be exposed and acquainted with the animals from the industrial farms as creatures with character, emotions and social structure.
The farm will grant the opportunity to approach and spend time with the animals, listen to lectures, and participate in workshops and witness the mighty and grating differences between these animals and their ill-fated brothers.
By doing so this will hopefully unlock years of the heart caging approach towards our life companions on this planet, and also deepen our understanding of the long term ecological damage that is in our power to avoid- The tremendous bonus to our own wellbeing, to the distant contribution to the war against the famine mortality in the third world countries.
FREEDOM is the first calf rescued from the meat and dairy industry in Israel. FREEDOM was born as a cripple in the dairy barn- and therefore his fate was instant slaughter.
Omri Zvi, who knew the farmer, begged for his life and the opportunity to rehabilitate him.
After a short rehabilitation period FREEDOM managed to stand on his feet and is alive and well to this very day.
The Freedom sanctuary's name was inspired by FREEDOM's rescue story.
This farm is a non-profit organization- The Freedom farm animal sanctuary.
